A few months ago, I wrote about our cake tasting with Jenny from the Sweet Tooth Cakery. This is the finished product and it was adorable and delicious! The top is in our freezer, but we won’t be waiting till our first anniversary to eat it, I can guarantee you that much.
The cake was soft, indulgent and mouth-watering, with an intense chocolate-y flavour that melded perfectly with the tangy raspberry filling. Depending on which layer your piece came from, you were seduced by a ‘buttercream’ flavoured with chocolate mocha, mocha or raspberry that you’d have trouble distinguishing from the real thing. One of our guests said it was the best cake he’d ever had!
Yum. So yum. I’m drooling just thinking about it.
Oh, and the wedding was good too…
