But I’ve never shared my simple, basic hummus recipe. I make this all the time and just love it. You can add more flavours if you want, but it’s wonderfully delicious all on its own.
gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, egg-free, soy-free, five ingredients or less
2 cups cooked chickpeas
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tbsp tahini
1 clove of garlic
1/4 tsp cumin
salt to taste
Dump all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth. Add as much water as you need, depending on how creamy you like your hummus.
Taste and adjust seasonings as necessary.
