But I’ve never shared my simple, basic hummus recipe. I make this all the time and just love it. You can add more flavours if you want, but it’s wonderfully delicious all on its own.
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 clove of garlic
- ¼ tsp cumin
- salt to taste
- Dump all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth. Add as much water as you need, depending on how creamy you like your hummus.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as necessary.
